Ricky MacMillan Masterclass Dressage Clinics


2009 Dates TBA 

Olympic Dressage Rider and Coach Ricky MacMillan is back teaching weekend clinics at Gypsie Lodge in 2008.
These clinics are open to riders with their own horse, and are ideally suited to those riders with at least some dressage experience. Fence sitters are welcome, please BYO chair! Canteen facilities, camping and overnight stabling is available at all clinics.
 
Lessons cost $110 for a private, and $55 for a shared (maximum of 2 riders).

Guy McLean Horsemanship Clinic

  Back by HUGELY popular demand, Queensland's own Master Horseman Guy McLean is booked for a 2 day clinic here at Gypsie Lodge. Guy has been a regular feature at Brisbane's Ekka, and Equitana, with his Buckskin liberty horses "Nugget", "Hope", "Sequel" and "Teagan". Together with Guy, these wonderful horses have been captivating audiences across Australia with their teamwork and harmony.
Guy McLean's clinic will cover groundwork techniques, desensitising and problem solving, showing you and your horse how you can achieve a better riding relationship and enhance your training, no matter what your chosen discipline.

This clinic is open to competant riders with their own horses. Participants will preferably have some knowledge of groundwork (but not essential), and be capable riding at walk, trot and canter. The sessions will be split into a novice and experienced group, and you will have two sessions per day with Guy.
